In today’s world, the word service doesn’t usually carry with it the most positive connotations. To most, serving means giving away… our time, our energy, our sympathies- and these may not always be things we like to part with. But as Christ followers, we are called to be a people set apart. As true and faithful believers, we are all “servants” of Jesus, and the ultimate service we can do for God is to cultivate a heart and a passion to do our part to care for all of God’s creatures.

Opportunity!
Jesus Christ, the ultimate servant, came to serve, not to be served, and we are called to do the same. But Christ’s call to service means more to us than the occasional activity; it’s a lifestyle. Our hope is to educate our family of believers to live a “missional life,” best communicated by our missional aim: GO across the street, across the city, across the border and across the ocean. Praying with a hurting person, sharing resources with someone who is financially distressed, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with someone who does not know Him YET … these are all examples of genuine missional living.
New Harvest Church offers a range of different opportunities to serve, within our Church family and local community, to spreading the Word of God and becoming “fishers of men” – throughout the World.
